The Procedure

Laser Hair removal is a simple straightforward process. There is no need for fear or anxiety. We understand that the unknown can be a frightening thing so we will take you through the process step-by-step.

For your treatments you will be brought to the procedure room that is equipped with the proper equipment and safety features. You will be made as comfortable as possible on the treatment table. Before starting the procedure, the targeted area of your skin will be cleaned Protective Eyewearand prepped. All deodorants, lotions or other cosmetic preparations must be removed. If you have not already shaved the area this will be done at this time.

The doctor will then set the Laser to the proper settings for your procedure. The Laser cooling system will then be set to the appropriate settings. The cooler may be turned up or down during your procedure to ensure your comfort.

He will fire the laser about every second, moving the beam in a grid pattern. Every time the Laser is fired you will feel a snap. You will also be aware of the light flash even though you are wearing protective glasses or goggles.

Your procedure may last several minutes to an hour depending on the site. After the procedure the provider will apply a soothing lotion to the area and answer any of your questions.
