The Consultation
Your first visit will be just like any other first visit to a new doctor. You will be asked to fill out registration forms and a medical history. You will then be taken to a private examination room where Dr. Goodrich or Dr. Phillips will personally conduct all new patient consultations.
The doctor will review your medical history and discuss the procedure that you desire and your expectations. The doctor will determine your skin type, examine the area to be treated and together develop a treatment plan that fits you needs.
Only after a treatment plan has been discussed and agreed upon can the exact cost of the services be determined. We have published a price list for all our services that is available on our website and in our office that will give you some idea of the expense prior to your consultation. Our goal is to provide you the best service at a fair price.
We do not use high-pressure sales tactics. After the consultation you are free to go and think about it or to discuss it with others. If you do decide on taking advantage of our services, payment arrangements need to be made prior to starting treatments. We will make a concerted effort to provide the initial treatment on the same day as the consult if you so desire.
There are many situations where a trial or “patch test” needs to be done prior to treating a large area. This is particularly true with areas involving the face. The consultation visit is a good time to do this.
Prior to initiating any procedure, digital photographs of the area to be treated will be taken. These will only be obtained if you are sure that you are going to undergo treatment and are required by our practice.
